We are looking for outgoing and hardworking restaurant servers for our busy dining room.
We are a medium-sized fine dining restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating.
We also have five inn rooms on property.
Requirements for this position are as follows, At least two years in a similar position (fine dining a plus!) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Be a team player! A friendly personality and a positive attitude Standard responsibilities for this position are, Preparing the restaurant for service, including side work and light cleaning Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Greeting and attending to guests to them with great service Attend to customers upon entrance Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages Take and serve orders Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience Hands-on experience in cashier duties Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy High school diploma is a plus but not required We are a pooled house, and that promotes teamwork across all front of house positions.
For applicants who might not have 'fine dining experience', the right attitude will go a long way! Skills are teachable, but a positive personality is not! Benefits include family meal, which is provided for staff everyday.
